The Other Side of Addiction
Later this year EDP will be holding an Exhibition at the Exeter Phoenix called ‘The Other Side of Addiction’ from 27th May until 27th June.
The exhibition’s aim is to challenge the stigma and stereotypes that are associated with addiction. Following the Exhibition at the Phoenix ‘The Other Side of Addiction’ will be toured throughout Devon and Dorset.
This is an opportunity for you to create something that can:
- change people’s attitudes towards addiction
- help people to understand your side of the story
- help society think differently about the issues surrounding drug and alcohol use.
You can submit any type of creative work including Creative Writing, Poetry, Stories, Photography, Drawing, Artwork or Painting. The deadline for submissions is Friday 24th April. Please hand in your work to your nearest service centre or send it to EDP Central Services, Suite 2:11, Renslade House, Exeter, EX4 3AY.
Selected pieces of creative art will be chosen for the main The Other Side of Addiction exhibition and all entries will be included in a free booklet available at the exhibition.
