EDP announced as finalist in BQF Awards
Since November 2016 EDP have been members of the BQF (British Quality Foundation). Each year the BQF hold their annual awards to highlight those driving forward excellence within their organisations. Earlier this year EDP submitted an application for our Hidden Gems project to be considered for one of the BQF 2018 Awards; the Innovation in Sustainability and Society Award.
We are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted as a finalist for this award alongside Phoenix Futures, National Express and Northumbrian Water!
There were many excellent nominations received for each category so we are exceptionally proud to see our name up there amongst the finalists.
EDP will meet with the jury panel in London at the end of January and answer some questions about Hidden Gems. The winner will be announced at an awards ceremony in March.
Congratulations specifically to our Social Enterprise Facilitator, Angie Holmes, and our Social Enterprise Development Officer, Rod Burnett and well done for the recognition your work with Hidden Gems has received!
