Last summer, with the help of James Smith Funerals, we began a community allotment in Swanage. The idea behind the project is to give people a space to learn about growing their own fruit and veg.   It took quite a while to clear the space last year and its only now a year on that we are really seeing the allotment come to life. Thanks to all those who have spent time getting the allotment ready and keeping it maintained, especially Malcolm! The food grown on the Swanage allotment will be used at EDP Swanage’s sober suppers or...What a difference a year makes! Our Swanage Allotment is blooming!

EDP’s Weymouth “Beach Walk”

Following the success of last summer’s beach party, EDP Weymouth embarked on their first “beach walk” of the year, open to all clients across Dorset, staff and support workers (hectic schedules permitting) and rather bravely, all their little canine pals. And some not so little. As is traditionally British in the height of summer, a dozen of us set off at 1pm on possibly the hottest day of the year, but with a hefty cool breeze and the promise of an ice cream at the end no-one was complaining. With the scenery and the ever-demanding and entertaining dogs to...EDP’s Weymouth “Beach Walk”
