Following an in-store and online vote, Together Drug & Alcohol Services have been chosen by Sainsbury’s Newton Abbot East Street Local as their charity of the year 2018/2019. This partnership is an important opportunity to create greater awareness and raise the profile of Together South in Newton Abbot with the support of Sainsbury’s. Flourish Exmouth July 2018

Flourish Cafes offer a friendly place for anyone in our community to come and connect with others. Everyone is welcome.  The Kennaway Centre: 10-12 Victoria Road, Exmouth, EX8 1DL. EDP announced as finalist in BQF Awards

Since November 2016 EDP have been members of the BQF (British Quality Foundation). Each year the BQF hold their annual awards to highlight those driving forward excellence within their organisations. Earlier this year EDP submitted an application for our Hidden Gems project to be considered for one of the BQF 2018 Awards; the Innovation in Sustainability and Society Award. Recovery Sound System visit Langdon Hospital

Last week our two members of the EDP team in Devon ran a Recovery Sound System ‘upcycle’ workshop with 6 patients, a member of staff and an OT student at Langdon Hospital Discovery Centre. EDP’s Recovery Sound System (RSS) aims to make a difference through music and connecting with others. The team work with people to ‘reclaim’ a song that was once important to them but has been too difficult to listen to since that time and use it to capturing the story of their recovery. Making Everyday First Aid more accessible

Sophie Barton from our Dorset service was recently given the opportunity to learn how to teach others Everyday First Aid. Here she shares how she has been able to use her training to pass on lifesaving techniques onto others.
