EDP Community Recovery Services

Community page quoteWhere do we work?

EDP work with people in the community where they are to support them to address their drug and alcohol use, working with their families and encouraging them to reintegrate into their local communities. Our services include:

RISE Recovery and Integration Service was a partnership between EDP and Addaction from April 2014 until March 2017. RISE is now delivered by Addaction. For more information please call 0300 303 3384 or visit the Addaction Website.

What do the services provide?

Our services work on a locality basis, collaborating with the people that use our services and partner agencies in order to access the widest range of resources and create the best opportunities for recovery possible.

In Dorset our services offer information, advice and support for those with alcohol and/or drug problems and for their loved ones. The service is individually tailored to the Service User need, aspirations and ambitions.  One to one and group sessions are available and are positive and recovery focused. Each service hub offers Level 3 needle exchange services and run peer mentoring and volunteer schemes

SHOT aims to reduce the incidence of people who are sleeping rough through addressing crisis and immediate risk (including accessing short-term accommodation), supporting the process of securing long-term suitable accommodation and reconnecting individuals to their local area.
