EDP Directorate Profiles

Mary Greener, Director of Services & General Manager of Devon Drug Service

I joined EDP in 2006 having previously managed part of a large national substance misuse charity, an NHS prescribing team, Community Mental Health provision and worked as a Social Worker. My role within EDP has changed a number of times but I am currently Director of Services and General Manager of Devon Drug Service. It is very different now only managing one contract, although there are many complexities involved with this role. Thankfully I like a challenge.

Lucie Hartley, Chief Executive

I first began working with people misusing substances when I worked as a volunteer with people who were homeless in London. I originally trained as a social worker and have worked as a community worker and self employed consultant and trainer. I have 19 years experience working in the substance misuse sector as a practitioner and manager both within the NHS and the non statutory sector. I have a degree in Sociology and Social Work, a diploma in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling and am nearing completion of an MBA (Masters in Business Administration) at Exeter University.
