Great West Run

Great West Run 1st May, 2010.

edp's brave runners came out in force on Sunday to take part in the 2010 Great West Run.  Despite the torrential rain and driving winds there was a fantastic atmosphere and everyone completed the 13.1 mile course in good time.

It was a great help to edp - not just terms of funds raised but also in enabling us to raise the profile of the charity in Exeter.  Volunteers were on hand to support the runners as well as hand out leaflets and answer questions from competitors and spectators.

All money raised will go towards supporting our peer mentor project, a training programme for ex-service user volunteers to enable them to support substance misusers in treatment.

Thank you to everyone who ran and all those who helped before the event and on the day!
